Collection of profiles of over 140 women who were significantly involved in architecture in Australia in the first half of the 20th century. Profiles aspects of architectural education, professional qualification and contrasts the contribution of women to the field of architecture with the obstacles they faced in order to be recognised and accepted in the male-dominated field. Hanna is a researcher at the University of New South Wales and is a co-founder of the Constructive Women Architecture and Design Archive at Stanton Library. Illustrated.
