Bob Currie was born in 1918 in Woolwich, England. He was a well-known British motorcycling writer and tester whom became a journalist for the magazines Motor Cycle and The Classic Motor Cycle. He was also the author of several books on motorcycles. He died in 1988. pp. 140 illusts First Edition #0221
