John Todd: Six Decades of Footy

Todd’s biography as a great player and coach is told in decade-by-decade format, starting with his childhood in the 1940s, then covering his sensational debut in the WAFL competition, where he won the Sandover medal in his first season at the age of 17. It then describes an injury-riddled career as a player, before turning to coaching. Todd was coach of the West Coast Eagles in 1988-1989 and there are chapters devoted to the formation of the club and Todd’s record with the AFL club.
