In 1913 a primary school was established in North Cottesloe, Perth. For a century since the school has provided educational and community services for families who moved there to grow their children by the ocean, beneath the pines. Cottesloe’s Child is a social history of childhood in North Cottesloe from the 1930’s to 1960’s. Stories tell of everyday lives, and times at school during these mid-century decades. Connecting with the current North Cottesloe Primary School community, it also commemorates the school’s celebrations in this special centenary year pp. 116 illusts #0720
