Alphonse Bellanger (1841-1908) was the descendant of Francois Bellanger (1754-1844) and Marie-Madeleine Yvonneau. He married Marie Louise Edmée Bordas in 1867. She was a descendant of Jacques-Emmanuel Bordas and Marie Catherine Girouard des Fossés. They emigrated from France and settled in Fremantle, West Australia in 1899, where the tingle trees and tourism eventually led them to a life of luxury. xii, 81 p., 20 p. of plates : ill., geneal. tables, maps, port. ; 22 cm.
