On September 1934 the body of a young woman wearing yellow oriental pyjamas was found in a stormwater drain in Albury, NSW. Her identity remained a mystery for 10 years and it was only when the police took the step of placing the body into a bath of formalin and putting her on show that the corpse was identified and the murderer jailed. pp. 215 illusts #1219 (Prev ownership label on back cover.)
