Skull Within Skin profiles the joint art practice of Jillian and Peteris Ciemitis. As award winning, Internationally exhibited artists, the two share parallel and creatively intersecting paths. The book examines their figurative and portraiture work, remarked by Robyn Archer as having a ‘no fear impulse’, or exploring the skull within skin as the authors Carl and Jan Altmann put it.
