AUSTRALIAN FLORA Landscaping

Landscaper Gordon Ford, working in the tradition of Ellis Stones and Edna Walling, is recognised as one of the Australia’s leading landscape designers. This volume illustrates his mastery of the natural Australian style of garden design, using the natural elements of rocks, water, trees and plants.

Gordon Ford was an Australian landscape designer who created rugged gardens which were noted to be of a distinctly Australian style. After returning from service in New Guinea in WWII, he settled near Montsalvat, where he dug out a site and built a house made out of mud bricks from the clay.

First Edition.
