ABORIGINAL AUSTRALIA MUSIC
Report on concert tour by Midnight Oil and the Warumpi Band of remote Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory; rock groups; musicians.
In the winter of 1986, Australia’s most politicised rock band, Midnight Oil. embarked on an unprecedented tour of remote Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory, accompanied by the desert-bred Warumpi Band. Strict Rules is the result: a report from the edge of experience, an exploration of the Australian dream.
(Rubbing to cloth edges, edge-worn dustjacket, some age-tanning, so only “Good”.)
