Sometimes sections feel a bit dry to me but these are the sections on navy management etc. The sections that interest me which include description of ship design, building, service history and the working conditions of the crew are written nicely.” “Excellent story of a workhorse vessel, launched in the dying days of WWII, her brief wartime career, then more than 4 decades as a patrol vessel and then scientific research ship, now resting in drydock as a museum exhibit and the only surviving vessel of her class out of literally hundreds built.
